News from in and around San Miguel

Well the weather in San Miguel is experiencing the same fluctuations as we see around the world. April was warm and then rain. May started out warm and then we had some good rains. Rain in May is unusual..

Our Plein Air group has shrunk. Some have moved on to return to the north; others are off tavelling the word. And we continue…

We just returned from a fantastic workshop with Joseph Zbukvic at the watercolor museum in CDMX.

Our group of Plein Air painters enjoyed múltiple demonstrations,opportunities to paint and some fine dining. Coyoacan area feels like a small town unto itself. We will definitely return.

I still study with Janine Gallizia early Monday mornings. She created our exhibition in France and is planning for another in Australia.

I am in the studio everyday and paint every day…A pleasant addiction.

We go to Maine in July for three weeks where I also paint and exhibit and take commissions.
